Saturday started strong with a full-field lacrosse practice, bringing together majors and minors, as we prepared for our upcoming intercamp matchup. The energy was high, and the focus even higher. Meanwhile, other majors wrapped up their week with solid sessions, pushing through with that classic BSC spirit.

As the afternoon sun hit, we cooled off by the waterfront, some tubing, some fishing, and lots of laughs. And after dinner, it was time to wind down with movie night, the perfect way to recharge before our first Lazy Bones Sunday 🙌🏼🍩

Today was the kind of summer day we dream about, bright, hot, and full of energy. From the moment the sun came up, our campers were giving it their all in their favorite sports, pushing themselves to improve, and preparing for the upcoming intercamp games.

Later in the day, we cooled off at the waterfront. Some campers tried tubing or fishing for the first time, and what started with a few nerves quickly turned into laughs and quiet moments by the lake. It’s always special to watch those small moments of growth outside the fields.

We ended the day around our first campfire of the session. It’s one of our favorite BSC traditions. Welcoming new campers, hearing from returning ones, and remembering why this place feels like home.

Each day here brings something new, but the feeling of being part of something bigger stays the same 💙🙌🏼

There’s something special about the first day of Majors… The anticipation, the energy, and the smiles that come from finally getting to dive into your favorite sport. Campers met their coaches, got a feel for the daily schedule, and started building those routines that make BSC feel like home ⚽🏒🏀⚾
After lunch, the summer heat called for a cool-down at the waterfront. From tubing and kayaking to peaceful moments fishing, it was the perfect balance between action and relaxation 🌊🎣☀️
But the real twist of the day? Our first official BSL Games. What started as a few friendly matches quickly turned into full-on competition. Cricket, handball, and kickball might sound casual, but not here. At BSC, even the unexpected sports become serious business. The teamwork, strategy, and spirit were off the charts, and this is just the beginning!

Daily Blog | Day 1: A New Beginning 💙

There’s something truly heartwarming about seeing campers return to their second home each summer and one of my favorite parts is noticing how much they’ve grown. From last summer to this one, the difference is incredible, and being behind the camera to witness that change year after year is something I’ll never take for granted.

Yesterday, we kicked off Session Two at Bridgton Sports Camp, welcoming a new group of campers ready to begin their three-week adventure. Some arrived full of excitement and a strong camp spirit.

The day was filled with campus tours, meeting roommates, unpacking, and of course, our classic first-night dinner of chicken tenders and fries 🍗🍟

Kiddos the first days are often a bit camera-shy, but we’ve got plenty of fun ahead to help everyone settle in, break out of their shell, and build new friendships, so I’ll keep you posted! So far, the energy is bright and the smiles are growing, it already feels like we’re off to a great start.

Daily Blog | Day 17: Let Color War Begin! 🙌🏼🔥
The wait is over, Color War has officially started at BSC, and the energy around camp has reached a whole new level! This year, our teams are the OKC Thunder and the Philadelphia Eagles, representing two powerhouse sports with the perfect blend of grit, determination, and heart.
We kicked off the day with major competitions, where campers earned points for their teams by doing what they love most, playing their chosen sports at full intensity. From the fields to the courts, the effort and teamwork were unmatched.
The afternoon brought more head-to-head fun, with games like kickball and flag football creating some of the most exciting moments of the summer. While the competition was fierce, the sportsmanship and team spirit made the day unforgettable.
And to wrap it all up? A well-deserved Ice Cream Sundae Night, the perfect way to cool down and celebrate Day One of Color War as a BSC family🍦

Today was full of sunshine, sports, and a big surprise to end the night. The morning kicked off with majors, and we spent time taking group photos with coaches and campers across all sports, capturing those special bonds. Then we made our way to the waterfront for one last full day at the lake. Being out there with the kiddos, watching them swim, laugh, and even teach me a bit of fishing, was such a joy. Some of them practiced catch and release, and let me tell you, it takes serious patience and skill!

After dinner, the fun continued with a magic show that left everyone wide-eyed and full of laughter. But just when they thought the day was over… Came one of the most anticipated moments of the summer. Color War Break! 🙌🏼🔥

For new families, Color War is a beloved camp tradition where the entire camp is split into two teams. Over the next few days, campers will compete in a variety of challenges, from sports to team-building activities, showing off their spirit, sportsmanship, and unity.

The energy tonight was electric, and tomorrow the games begin! 💙🏕️

Daily Blog | Day 15: Lazy Mornings and Wild Adventures 🏞️🍩

Sundays at BSC always bring a special kind of energy, a little slower and a little sweeter.

The day kicked off with Lazy Bones Sunday, our favorite excuse to sleep in a bit longer and fuel up with Dunkin’ Donuts (because nothing says weekend like sprinkles and frosting!).

After a relaxed start, some of our campers laced up their boots for a hike up Hawk Mountain. The views were worth every step, fresh air, good company, and the feeling of accomplishment at the top.

Back at camp, the waterfront called for a little free swim and time to cool off in the lake. Meanwhile, the seniors geared up for an afternoon of paintball, ready to put their strategy and teamwork to the test.

Whether exploring the trails, splashing in the water, or chasing the thrill of paintball, everyone found a moment to recharge and connect.

What started as a regular morning quickly turned into one of the most competitive days of the summer! The fields were alive with energy as our campers geared up for a full lineup of InterCamp games, baseball, kickball, soccer, and flag football all in one day.

From big wins to hard-fought losses, every match was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit. It was amazing to see the kiddos apply all they’ve been working on, showing growth not just in skill but in confidence and teamwork too.

Whether they were hitting home runs or cheering from the sidelines, today reminded us that every game is a chance to learn, grow, and have fun 💙

What a day! We’re proud of every single camper who gave it their all 🙌🏼
