Daily Blog: Day 13 – Footballs, Footgolf and Fast Plays.
Friday had that perfect balance of structure and freedom, the kind of day that reminds you why summer camp is so unforgettable. Our flag football team headed out for an intercamp game, and the pride was visible from the moment they boarded the van. Whether they were pulling flags or making key plays, they represented our camp with heart, grit, and sportsmanship.
Back at camp, soccer majors mixed things up with a twist: footgolf. It might sound funny at first, kicking a soccer ball across a course with giant holes, but watching our campers strategize, celebrate, and yes, compete for the best “footgolf score” made the activity a hit.
Meanwhile, the rookies took to the street hockey arena, and we couldn’t stop smiling. Their energy was contagious, their determination real. No matter the sport, one thing was clear, the kiddos are all in. As the day wrapped up, we couldn’t help but notice that the pace of camp was going by so quickly! We’re entering the final stretch, and everyone can feel it. Got to embrace every moment.
