Daily Blog: Day 16 – Picture Perfect, Then the Real Magic Began.

Tuesday had that magical stillness that comes before a big moment, but no one knew what was coming. We started the day with something simple yet meaningful: portrait day.

Each camper got the chance to take a photo in their major, holding a soccer ball, gripping a hockey stick, cradling a bat, or striking their proudest pose on the court. These weren’t just pictures. They were reflections of weeks of effort, passion, and joy. You could see it in their eyes and in their smiles, the pride of becoming, of belonging, of doing what they love.

Then came the night. A fun magic show was on the schedule, and the room was buzzing. But as the show ended, something shifted. The lights changed. And just like that, Color War broke. Surprise. Screams. The campers met their team captains, their new squads, and immediately started planning strategies. The room lit up, not just with excitement, but with purpose.

This wasn’t just the end of the day, it was the start of something epic.
