Daily Blog: Day 10 – Finding Their Rhythm
There’s a beautiful moment that happens about a week into camp. You start to see the shift when campers no longer feel new. They know their way around. They laugh louder. They cheer harder. They don’t just participate… they belong.
Today wasn’t about a big event. It was about the little things that are starting to mean everything.
In majors, kiddos dove deeper into their sports, fine-tuning their swings in baseball, sharpening their footwork in soccer, and working through smart plays on the basketball court. On the ice, confidence grew with every stickhandling drill. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress, and they’re making plenty of it.
But just as important are the quiet wins, navigating the camp day on their own, showing up early to activities, or turning rest hour into something special. Like reading letters from home, writing back with excitement, sharing their highlights and favorite moments.
At night, the conversations never stop. Dorms are filled with stories, inside jokes, and plans for tomorrow. They’re not just campers anymore, they’re part of a team, a community. And that’s the magic of BSC 💙
