Daily Blog: Day 14 – Lazy Bones Sunday and White Out Classic
There’s something sacred about a Sunday at camp. After a packed week, we kicked off Lazy Bones Sunday with a late wake-up, slow breakfast, and a bit of extra time in our pajamas. Even tho the kiddos are wide awake and ready to go every morning at camp. Our seniors took off for paintball, and they came back with bursts of energy, colorful stories, and a few paint-splattered souvenirs. It was one of those bonding experiences they’ll be talking about for days, maybe even summers to come.
Back on campus, the basketball court was being prepped for something big: our intercamp showdown against Camp Micah. The excitement had been building all week, and by game time, every camper was dressed in white, ready to cheer their hearts out. The gym echoed with camp spirit, it wasn’t just a game, it was a full-on White Out experience.
There’s no doubt about it, energy like that only happens when a camp becomes a family.
