Beating the heat at BSC

It was another warm summer day at camp, but everyone made the most of it! The morning started with Majors, as campers headed to their favorite sports for another day of practice and skill development.

As temperatures climbed, we switched things up with a special rotation to help everyone stay cool. Campers rotated between free skate at the ice rink and waterfront activities, including free swim, the Long Lake Games, kayaking, fishing, and plenty of time enjoying the waterfront. Divisions rotated throughout the day, giving everyone a chance to cool off while still having fun.

Our Rookies also took part in an Amazing Race challenge, followed by a well-earned snack after all their teamwork and running around. The afternoon had a more relaxed pace, with campers watching World Cup matches, enjoying movies, and spending time with friends. To end the day, our Seniors and CITs headed to the rink for a social with Camp Mataponi, where they enjoyed an evening of free skating together.

Even on one of the hottest days of the summer so far, there was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and ways to stay cool ☀️💦
