By day three, camp is officially in full swing.
The morning was all about Majors, with campers continuing to build skills in their favorite sports. On the soccer field, players worked on passing, ball control, and small-sided games. Hockey campers focused on skating, puck handling, and shooting drills, while baseball players spent time taking swings in the cages, fielding ground balls, and working on throwing mechanics. Over on the basketball courts, campers practiced ball movement, shooting, and teamwork, and the lacrosse fields were full of passing, stick work, and fast-paced drills.
One of the best parts of walking around camp is seeing every field and court full of energy, with coaches encouraging campers and teammates cheering each other on.
In the afternoon, campers headed to their Minors, where activities included street hockey, tubing on the lake, and the always fun Long Lake Games. There was something for everyone, whether it was competing with friends or enjoying time out on the water. The excitement continued as campers took on Camp Wigwam in one of our first intercamp competitions of the summer. These games are always a fun opportunity to put skills into action, represent BSC, and enjoy some friendly competition.
Another busy day in the books, and with each day, campers are settling into their routines, building confidence, and making the most of every moment at camp.
