Color War is in full swing, and you can feel the excitement all around camp.

The day kicked off with our Rookies facing off in hockey, followed by an exciting matchup between the Pros and Seniors. Just as exciting as the games themselves was the energy from the sidelines. Campers packed the rink, cheering on their teammates and bringing plenty of spirit to every shift.

After lunch, campers rotated through a variety of Color War events, including soccer, basketball, kickball, and flag football. Every point mattered, but what stood out most was the teamwork, sportsmanship, and encouragement between teammates. It was fun to see campers competing in sports they don’t usually play and giving it their all for their team.

Tonight, we’ll gather around the campfire for one of our favorite traditions as we celebrate an incredible first session together. It’s hard to believe how quickly these three weeks have gone by. There are still a few more memories to make, and we’re looking forward to making the most of every last moment at BSC!

The excitement around camp reached a whole new level today as our Rookies had their official Color War breakout, finding out which team they’ll represent for the rest of the competition. From that moment on, every drill, game, and challenge became a chance to earn points for their team.

The morning was full of energy, starting with a competitive game of street hockey before campers headed to their Majors. Hockey players hit the ice, while soccer and lacrosse campers wrapped up their final full day of Major practices. It was also portrait day for soccer, and it was fun to capture everyone’s personality one last time before the schedule shifted into Color War mode.

In the afternoon, campers took on one of the most creative Color War events: the Cook-Off. Using cupcakes and a variety of surprise decorations, teams created themed masterpieces, with one challenge featuring superheroes and villains. It was amazing to see the creativity, teamwork, and storytelling behind each creation.

The fun continued at the waterfront with the Long Lake Relay, a newer Color War event that combined Gaga, swimming, the lake slide, and a kayak relay into one action-packed competition. It quickly became a favorite, with teammates cheering each other on from start to finish.

We wrapped up the evening with Ice Cream Night, a sweet ending to a day filled with competition, creativity, and plenty of Color War spirit!

Today was one of my favorite days behind the camera.

The morning was spent visiting each Major, where campers took part in individual portraits with their sport. From hockey and baseball to basketball, soccer, and lacrosse, it was fun to capture not only their photos, but also the passion and excitement they bring to their favorite game every single day. It’s amazing to see how much confidence and skill they’ve built over the past few weeks.

Later in the afternoon, I made my way to the waterfront, where campers enjoyed tubing, fishing, and another beautiful day. With the summer flying by, everyone is making the most of every chance to be out on the water. One of the highlights of the day was joining another group of Rookies as they celebrated earning the highest room scores with a well-deserved ice cream trip. It’s always fun to see teamwork pay off!

The excitement kept building into the evening as our Pros and Seniors gathered for the big Color War team reveal. Campers proudly found out whether they’d be representing the Carolina Hockey team or the Knicks team, and the energy was incredible. One thing’s for sure, the countdown to Color War is officially on!

The final stretch of Session One is here, and the excitement around camp keeps growing.

It was a fun and well-balanced weekend at BSC, giving campers the chance to compete, relax, and enjoy some of our favorite camp traditions.
On Saturday, campers eased into the weekend with a little extra rest before heading to their Majors. The day featured an exciting intercamp handball game, in which BSC came away with the win, along with a competitive soccer match that was full of excitement from start to finish. At the waterfront, campers enjoyed building sandcastles and soaking up the sunshine.
Sunday was our Lazy Bones Sunday, giving everyone another chance to recharge after a busy week. Campers enjoyed Dunkin’ Donuts in the morning before spending time catching up with their families. Later in the day, each division had its own adventure. Our Pros cooled off with a giant Slip ‘N Slide, while the Rookies hiked Hawk Mountain, taking in some incredible views of the Maine landscape. The evening wrapped up with a magic show that had campers laughing, cheering, and wondering, “How did he do that?”
Now we’re back and ready for the final week of Session One. It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer is flying by, and we’re excited to make the most of every day ahead.

Friday was another action-packed day at BSC, with plenty of competition and excitement from start to finish.

The morning began with Majors, where campers continued developing their skills across every sport. Hockey campers had a special opportunity to train with John Desmond, Head Coach at Bridgton Academy. During the session, they worked through game situations, decision-making, and other skills that will help prepare them for competition throughout the summer. It was a great experience for players of all ages.

Around camp, the soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and basketball programs continued another strong day of practice as campers built confidence and improved with their coaches. After lunch, the waterfront was the place to be. Campers spent the afternoon tubing, fishing, and enjoying another beautiful day on Long Lake.

The competition carried into the evening with an exciting staff street hockey game between Koop and PJ’s teams. After a hard-fought matchup, Koop’s team came away with the win in overtime, and campers loved cheering from the sidelines. We wrapped up the day with Friday night pizza, and everyone is looking forward to another fun weekend at camp!

There was plenty of energy around camp today, both on and off the field.

The morning kicked off with Majors, where campers continued sharpening their skills. Hockey players worked on skating and puck movement, lacrosse focused on stick work and game situations, soccer campers practiced passing, finishing, and possession, baseball players prepared for competition, and basketball players continued building their teamwork through drills and scrimmages.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was our baseball intercamp game against Camp Micah. Teammates and friends packed the sidelines to cheer them on, and a few campers even painted “Go BSC” across their chests to show their support. It was great to see so much spirit and encouragement throughout the game.

Later in the day, the action continued during Choose Up, where campers had time to enjoy the waterfront, play with friends from different divisions, or join a game of BBA. One of the best parts of BBA is seeing campers step outside their Major sport. It’s just an example of what makes life at BSC so much fun. Another great day of competition, teamwork, and camp spirit!

The warm weather made for another perfect afternoon at the waterfront. Campers cooled off with tubing, swimming, and plenty of time out on Long Lake, making the most of another beautiful summer day in Maine.

As the evening rolled around, each division had something fun to look forward to. Our Rookies enjoyed a movie night featuring Toy Story 5, while the Pros had a free skate social with camp Mataponi, spending the evening meeting new friends and enjoying time on the ice.

It was a great way to kick off another week at Bridgton Sports Camp!

The morning started a little later than usual, followed by a special Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast. One of the nicest parts of the day was campers getting to catch up with their families, sharing stories from the week and the memories they’ve already made.

After lunch, everyone headed to our sister camp, Kents Hill, for a fun-filled afternoon at the carnival. Campers cooled off with water inflatables, enjoyed snow cones and cotton candy, and spent the day playing, laughing, and making even more memories with friends.

We wrapped up the evening with hamburgers and hot dogs before heading back to BSC. Our Seniors stayed a little longer to enjoy a Silent Disco, ending the weekend on a high note.

It was the perfect mix of rest, fun, and time together before another exciting week at camp began.

It was a relaxed Saturday at camp and the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July!

During the day, campers enjoyed their Minors, which gave them the chance to try different sports and activities outside their Major. Whether it was soccer, lacrosse, or baseball, it was a great opportunity to mix things up, stay active, and have fun with their new friends at camp.

For dinner, everyone gathered for a traditional Fourth of July meal featuring turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and all the Thanksgiving classic favorites.

The highlight of the evening was our Casino Night. Campers spent the night playing classic casino-style games, earning chips, and trading them in for fun prizes. It’s always one of the most anticipated events of the summer.

It was a fun day filled with good food, sports, and plenty of Fourth of July spirit! 🇺🇸🌭

The day started with a camp favorite, pancakes, sausage, and plenty of syrup to fuel everyone for a busy morning! Campers headed to their Majors, where each sport was full of energy. Hockey players continued sharpening their skating and stick skills, lacrosse focused on passing, soccer campers worked on ball control and game situations, and basketball players spent the morning improving their shooting and communication on the court. Baseball had an exciting day as campers took part in their first intercamp game of the summer, giving them a chance to put everything they’ve been practicing into action.

With another hot afternoon in Maine, we adjusted the schedule to help campers stay cool. Divisions rotated through the waterfront, where they enjoyed free swim, kayaking, and tubing, while others headed to the ice rink for free skate. It was the perfect way to beat the heat while still making the most of the day. After dinner, campers enjoyed a fun evening with pizza and soda before winding down by watching movies or cheering on the World Cup together with their friends.

Another fun-filled day is in the books, and camp is only getting better as the summer goes on ☀️🌲💦
